Mick and I both enjoyed singing - this was “caving club singing” a very specific genre which included everything from hymns to rugby songs. I learned several songs from Mick - “the Harlot of Jerusalem” being one. It is ironic that the last time we sang together Mick forgot some of the words and I was able to jump in and prompt him - almost a duet! I eventually wrote the Club song book but that song isn’t in it. It was “the chairman’s song” and very much Mick’s song.
